Step-by-Step Guide
Upload Your PDFs
Upload two or more PDF files. You can select them all at once or add them one by one.
Arrange the Order
Drag to reorder the files exactly how you want them to appear in the final combined document.
Download the Merged PDF
Click Merge and download your single combined PDF — all pages in one file, in the right order.
How It Works
Sending five separate PDFs when one clear document is expected looks unprofessional — and makes it harder for the recipient to find what they need. Merging is the clean solution.
Everyday uses: Combining a cover letter and resume into one file, merging multiple bank statements into a single document for a loan application, or putting all pages of a scanned contract into one PDF.
Order matters: You can drag and rearrange the files before merging. So if you need Chapter 1 followed by Appendix A followed by Chapter 2, just drag them into that order — it's that simple.
Who Uses This?
Job Applications
Combine your resume, cover letter, and certificates into one neat PDF before emailing or uploading to a job portal.
Loan & Bank Documents
Banks often ask for multiple documents. Merge them all into one file for a clean, professional submission.
Combining Scanned Pages
Scanned documents often come as separate page-by-page PDFs. Merge them into one complete document.
Reports & Presentations
Merge separate chapters, sections, or slides into a single PDF for sharing or printing.
What You Can Do
Combine Any Number of Files
Merge 2 PDFs or 20 — there's no limit on how many files you can combine in one go.
Drag to Reorder
Rearrange the files in any order before merging so the final document flows exactly how you want.
All Sizes Welcome
Mix small forms with large reports — the tool handles any combination of file sizes.
Every Page is Preserved
All pages from all files are included in the merged PDF, in the order you chose. Nothing is skipped.
No Quality Loss
The merged PDF looks identical to the originals — no blurring, no compression, no changes to formatting.
Private & Secure
Your files are deleted from our server automatically after merging. No one can see or download them.
Helpful Tips
- Always check the page order after merging — open the PDF and scroll through to make sure it looks right.
- If one file is much larger than the others, compress it first to keep the merged file size manageable.
- You can merge a 1-page cover sheet with a 50-page report — size differences don't matter.
- Use your browser's print function (Print to PDF) to convert Word or image files to PDF before merging.
Your Files Are Safe & Private
Files are transferred over secure TLS encryption and wiped automatically from server memory after processing. We never inspect, store, or share your documents.
Common Questions
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There's no fixed limit. You can merge as many PDFs as you need in a single session.
Will the page size change when merging different PDFs?
No. Each page keeps its original size and layout. A landscape page from one file stays landscape in the merged result.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. You need to unlock the protected PDF first using our Unlock PDF tool, then merge it.
Can I pick only certain pages from a PDF to merge?
This tool merges entire files. To select specific pages, use our Organize/Delete Pages tool first to remove unwanted pages, then merge.
Is the merged file smaller or larger than the individual files combined?
Usually about the same total size. Merging doesn't compress the content, it just joins the files.
